Even though I met some of the men in this book, I put it together because I'm from Brooklyn and liked the idea of putting something out that showed the link between gangsters and Brooklyn. I always knew it because I was born in it. I had the pleasure to meet and deal with some characters in the mob world that I would not have had the chance to meet if I was a regular guy. I do find it interesting how many guys that I have met that were so passionate and yet would also be so violent. They really believed in what they: were doing, whether it was shake downs, scores, murders, or protecting each other and their families and the belief that there was honor among thieves. I've met bosses, capos, made men and associates in every family in the mob from Rhode Island to New York to New Jersey; from consigliere, to killers, thieves, money makers, and gofers. As I sit here now and think, they all had the same idiotic beliefs, loyalty to their bosses and their partners and .they thought that this thing of ours would never end.

I did meet some that I still respect and some that I think are assholes then and even now. So 37 years later I sat down and here is what you get, Mob Candy's Brooklyn Gangster's. Hope you Enjoy the Read Book jacket.
