Rita Marshall , Creative Director of Creative Editions, is one of the most distinguished designers in children's publishing. Her work has earned wide critical acclaim, as well as gold and silver medals from the Society of Illustrators and the New York Art Director's Club. She is the author of I Hate to Read!, winner of the 1993 Benjamin Franklin Award. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, Etienne Delessert, and their son.
