Raisingover 80 million dollars, I founded three game changing organizations: Sanctuary for families,CONNECT and Threshold Collaborative. In the early 1990's I pioneered the use of oralhistory and community engagement to build grassroots change around the issues of family,and intimate violence. With Threshold this work has been honed so that we can partnerwith and teach an array of participatory strategies that address social challenges in waysthat ignite empathy, inclusion, insight and impact. My innovations have been recognizedthrough a Revson, Rockefeller and Ashoka Fellowship.
