Walter K. Davis, DBA, MBA, is a practicing engineering liaison, author, and doctoral business school student mentor. For the past twenty years, he has provided engineering and technology consultancy to Fortune 500 companies and federal government agencies. Walter has provided support for new product development to research & development strategy, manufacturing process capability, and intellectual property guidance to transitioning entrepreneurs. He is a U.S. Army veteran, where he supported special operations in signals intelligence and system integration. He has worked to integrate innovation in intellectual property management, manufacturing process capability, and electronic sensor systems for automotive, aerospace, biomedical, and consumer appliance applications domestically and internationally.

Walter graduated Magna Cum Laude from Capella University, earning an MBA, with a focus in Operations/Project Management and a Doctorate of Business Administration, with a research emphasis in Strategy and Innovation. He earned a graduate certificate in Project Management from the University of California, Irvine, received a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Technology and received specialized training in Intellectual Property Law. Walter plans to develop a blog and give practical, experiential support to his young daughter Audrey in STEM education and in the social sciences.
