My name is Glenn Davis, and I am a blind person. I have overcome all kinds of obstacles since birth. Number one was being rejected by my biological mother at birth; and due to the fact of poor prenatal care, I was born with birth defects. I was born with two crooked feet in which during most of my school life, especially in elementary school, I was picked on. However with surgery, even back in those days, they were able to make my feet normal again.I grew up straight and narrow, and after high school, I decided to go into the Navy to follow my dad's foot steps. I would later go into the Central Intelligence Division where I specialized with computers processing research for the government. Later on in life without my knowledge, I developed the disease known as Diabetes, in which all of a sudden, my life was dark from here on, and with the disease of neuropathy, I have also left with half of my hearing gone.

I am very passionate about writing educational material about what it is like being blind and what it feels like to be challenged. Society as a whole doesn't know how to deal with this subject. I try to help them overcome the fear of being around the blind, and with the help of these books, I hope to eliminate the fear. I hope that my books readers would actually know what it is like to loose something as precious as your sight. A lot of people would like nothing better than to lock the doors to their home, and never have a productive life, and believe me I know some blind friends who have gone through that. I own my own business as well, and have opened an internet business, which I have named after my beautiful wife Dolly. In fact next month, if you go into the computer and type www.DD.

speedway.com, you enter my website, which has video games and camping gear available. With the spring and summer season coming on, you might need to check it out.I am also in the process of opening a new non profit organization in which is going to provide homes to countless people in our populous in which are homeless. It is affordable housing for our veterans, and since my dad has passed on, I am doing it in honor of him, because, he was a vet who did something unusual, he served in all of the armed forces during WWII, and that he was stationed in South America, at the Panama Canal, in which he was a boat mechanic.
