Reading is as important to me as breathing, and now I enjoy the thrill of writing as well. She Survives, my first venture into fiction, is book one in a historical fiction series called Laura's Dash, and was published on May 15, 2018. Currently I'm writing two books at the same time, Strive and Protect, book two in the trilogy, plus Devil Triplets, Angel Kitties, a non-fiction book about three black kittens who came to me as newborn rescues, but ended up staying. The book is full of color pictures, and is written from the perspective of Becca, the smallest of the three siblings. I've bottle-fed 514 babies, including the triplets Brady, Bonnie, and Becca, since my first one 1988. I've become an expert on neonatal kittens, and my first book, Bottlekatz, A Complete Care Guide for Orphan Kittens, is used as a training manual by rescue groups throughout the US and the UK. My second animal rescue themed book, Faces of Rescue; Cats, Kittens and Great Danes, contains pictures and stories about many of the individual animals we've rescued throughout the years. One of the reasons animal rescue has been a vital part of my life is because of my deep-seated belief in the importance of spirituality.

Two of my books explore that theme. My memoir, From Hindsight to Insight, A Traditional to Metaphysical Memoir, is based on the idea that there are no coincidences, just lessons arranged by the universe. A perfect example of that idea became real when I wrote and published Tom Flynn, Medium & Healer, with Tom, who is an internationally known medium who lives in London.I am a very lucky woman, because my husband of 52 years, Stan, encourages and supports me in all my endeavors. We have two daughters, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. I've lived most of my life in Sacramento, California, where we currently reside with our Great Dane and five cats. Life is good!.
