David Daley is of Jamaican parentage and grew up in Coventry, West Midlands working in the family catering business (Gwen's Catering with his mother Gwendolyn, father Lyndon, and his siblings). David passion's for Caribbean food and culture has been inspired by his parents' cooking and frequent visits to the Caribbean to see family and friends. David is the proprietor of Roti Kitchen, Caribbean caterers specializing in events and outside catering (www.rotikitchen.com and www.facebook.com/rotikitchen).Douglas David Alexander is from St Vincent and is a proud member of the UK 'Vincey' community.

He is a qualified chef and restaurant consultant with over 17 years' experience of business management in the Food & Beverage Hospitality Industry in both the Caribbean and the UK. In addition, Douglas is the owner of First Impressions Events Catering Ltd, and trades under the Essential Caribbean brand, (www.firstimpressions-catering.co.uk) and is the former owner of The Bambu Strip Sports Bar & Restaurant. You may find David and Douglas working together selling Caribbean food at street markets around London.
