Welcome readers--young and old! It delights me to have you here interested in my book. Allow me to give you a brief history on the story of this book. As a child, I dreamed of landing a career as a full-time author. I spent a considerable amount of time writing poems, short stories, even home movie scripts but those never came to the screen. In December of 2003, after many notebooks filled with ideas, poems, and stories, I decided to set out on a full novel project. I was eight years old at this time, and the story "Diamond Chaos" was born.Back then, I always had a gravitation towards mystery and drama and uncovering the unknown. I read a considerable amount of Hardy Boys mystery stories along with a few Sherlock Holmes books.
The 1985 film, "Young Sherlock Holmes", gripped me to a great degree. Adventure is what I believe everyone needs at times in their lives, and these stories pushed me to create my own.Writing "Diamond Chaos" was never really easy, but it was fun writing it at the time. I sometimes spent two to three hours in my room, pondering over my story and even getting frustrated when I felt I could do better. I wanted a real story to hit the shelves, but time passed and that never occurred. But now, I give my story to you. I finished writing "Diamond Chaos" in September of 2005 when I was ten years old. This is the type of story you can read on your own, but reading out loud with friends or even to a younger audience can work too.
This story delivers laughs, excitement, and action all at the same time. I hope you enjoy it!.
