Diane DiGiuseppi and her husband, Gio, join her two siblings and their spouses for their second annual family vacation of relaxing and exploring in sunny, warm Florida. For lodging Diane chose the purportedly haunted Daphne Inn located in the charming town of Mount Dora. It soon becomes obvious that the inn is truly haunted as messages start appearing on the walls.At the time of their visit, the town of Mount Dora is hosting it's first annual Bass Festival. Townspeople and visitors alike are in a flurry of excitement as to who will win the bass cooking competition with it's $5,000 grand prize plus a 6 month national TV cooking show! Diane and her family quickly become involved with Bertie, a delightful older woman who is well known locally as a prize winning gourmet chef. Young, handsome Chef Stephan Renaud, an up-and- coming chef, and his partner, soon arrive at the inn and the turmoil begins!Bertie's problems mount up as she is accosted by two of the inn's guests who are after her bass recipe which has gone missing as well as the cookbook it came from.
