Robert Lehman Lectures on Contemporary Art
Nine diverse scholarly contributors -- including philosopher Mark Taylor, art historian Sarat Maharaj, architectural theoretician Beatriz Colomina, and cultural critic Marina Warner -- take on the challenges of analyzing and illuminating contemporary art, focusing on work by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Jessica Stockholder, Juan Munoz, Alighiero e Boetti, and Fred Sandback, among others. Covering the period 1995 to 1998, this is the second volume of the Robert Lehman Lectures on Contemporary Art, presented at Dia since 1992 in an on-going commitment to cross-disciplinary critical and intellectual discourse.
