Passion best describes Steve's God-given design.Regardless of the ministry, event, class, sport, program, or relationship, if Steve is involved, his heart is fully invested and passionate about seeing God's heart manifested.After being lost for over 26 years, exploring various religions and "non-religions," coming to Christ was a pinnacle moment in Steve's life. The fulfillment he had searched for through alcohol, drugs, parties, fast cars, and fast women was finally met through the Creator and Savior of the world. (It's hard to get any better than that, but he thinks his wife, Courtney, comes close).Steve's control, and sometimes lack thereof, had to be surrendered to that same Creator and Savior, Jesus. While, in one way, it was freeing, at times Steve struggled, grasping for a hold of something he could still control. In Christianese, that is called the battle of the flesh.
