In My Sister Margarita, author and illustrator Andy Cohen writes a heartwarming tale about a long-lost sister and brother who become better acquainted as they begin to share a few very adventurous adventures. Full of family fun and discovery, the brother, writing in the first person, is as patient as patient can be as he tries to understand his little sister, Margarita, on her terms. An unusually precocious, if pedantic child, Margarita is what one might call a know-it-all, though what she knows is often a few hairs from the whole story, though she does know a lot of facts, which she can recall at will. Their first visit is exciting and soon enough the two tumble out to the woods where Margarita communes with nature and her brother is able to see her softer side, which proves disarming and selfless. While Margarita may have some limits, the future for her and her brother looks bright and only time will tell what other sort of adventures lay ahead for the siblings.
