Designed for introductory CAD users, CAD Demonstration Drawings begins with the most basic concepts and tools and then progressively builds upon those concepts and tools with each successive assignment. The progressive and interconnected design of the assignments helps students master the most basic skills and incrementally learn more advanced tools and techniques with each new drawing. The assignments include real-world examples from diverse industries including architecture, engineering, landscape, mechanical, and interior design. Each drawing assignment begins with an introduction followed by suggested steps for completing the assignment. Specific commands appear in CAPS to aid quick entry at the command line. Occasionally the assignments end with questions which test students understanding and challenge them to explore concepts in greater depth.
