Shein-Chung Chow is Director of the Biostatistics and Data Management Department at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Plainsboro, New Jersey, and an Affiliate Professor in the Statistics Department at Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The coauthor of the books Advanced Linear Models, with Song-Gui Wang, and Design and Analysis of Bioavailability and Bioequivalence Studies, with Jen-pei Liu, and the author or coauthor of over 60 professional papers, he is a member of the American Statistical Association, the Biometric Society, and the Drug Information Association, and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Chinese Statistical Association and as an associate editor of the Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics (all titles. Marcel Dekker, Inc.). Dr. Chow received the B.S. degree (1978) in mathematics from National Taiwan University.
Taipei, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree (1985) in statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jen-Pei Liu is Senior Statistical Scientist at Berlex Laboratories, Inc., Wayne, New Jersey. The coauthor of the book Design and Analysis of Bioavailability and Bio-equivalence Studies, with Shein-Chung Chow (Marcel Dekker, Inc.), Dr. Liu is a member of the American Statistical Association, the Biometric Society, the Drug Information Association, and the International Chinese Statistical Association.
He received the B.S. degree (1974) in agronomy and the M.S. degree (1978) in biometry from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, and the M.S. (1980) and Ph.D.
(1983) degrees in statistics from the University of Kentucky, Lexington.
