While most of the poems which comprise this work were written at different times, and many appeared in different markets, their arrangement here is designed to present a coherent (hopefully) and different view of largely familiar scenes and settings -- a view which is designed to shed light on the desires, fears, joys and small tragedies that make up our days, but that often go unnoted.
