The first words that come to mind when I think of Alicia Carter are resilient, strong, mother, loving, loyal, and God fearing. She exemplifies all of those things on a daily basis. Alicia is from a small town south of Houston, TX called Wharton, TX. Alicia draws from her own faith to not only live her life, but also to minister to others as well be an inspiration. Having survived the unimaginable, losing a child. She took every tragedy she has dealt with and turned them into lessons, and isn't that the point of life? To live by faith, to love unconditionally, to minister to those in need, to use the gifts we are given and utilize them to the best of our ability. Alicia is one of my heroes for just those reasons. She is a mother, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend to many.
