Tanith Carey is an award-winning writer, counsellor, and author of 12 books on parenting and psychology. Her books are published in over 40 countries, including the US, Canada, France, Germany, and China. As a veteran journalist and former US correspondent, Tanith also writes for a wide range of global publications, including The Guardian , The Times, and The Spectator . Her books include the four titles in the What's My Child Thinking? series (DK), The Friendship Maze , Taming the Tiger Parent , and Girls Uninterrupted: Steps for building stronger girls in a challenging world. She has a therapy practice and consults as well as teaches clinical child psychology. She regularly contributes to the national press and appears on TV and radio. She has three children.
