'The left-hand page consists of key terms, possible essay questions, exam links, must know, should know and extra evaluation. The AO3 comments are broken down into point, example/evaluation and link, which is a good structure to follow. This is ideal if you encourage your students to use this structure already. From a teacher perspective, the book has a huge amount and variety of exam-style questions and all the answers are provided in the back which reallyhelps as you don't need to complete the tasks yourself!'Karen Brown, Holy Cross College, writing in ATP Today magazine'Overall, for revision purposes, this is an ideal book as it focuses on preparing students for the exam, it shows them how to organise their knowledge, map that knowledge against the specs and structure this to achieve the AO skills they need to demonstrate to the examiner. The book also gives them examples of how to do this and chances to exercise these skills and gain insight as to how they will be marked.'Bernadette Howells'Very good book. Content is well explained and the practice questions/sample essays are very helpful.'5-star Amazon review'Great book.
Have been teaching for 14 years and not recommended a book as much to my students. Excellent summary of key points with lots of activities for them to do to check understanding. Also lots of sample essays with examiner comments.'5-star Amazon review'Excellent revision guide. Each page is laid out with colour coded information. It's split into 'must know'/'should know'/'extra'. Usually each topic is a double sided page spread and the second page contains questions on the topic. Throughout the revision guide there are examiners' comments to help revision.
All in all I find it very helpful.'5-star Amazon review.
