Lisa Caprelli is an award-winning author of the unicorn book series, Unicorn Jazz. She is the host of the kids show "The Thing I Do." She is also an author of 15 books and counting! Caprelli grew up with humble beginnings in the sun city of El Paso, Texas. She is proud of her Latin roots and culture and happy to have realize her dream of living the ocean today in Huntington Beach, California. Her partnership with Microsoft Office and her children's writing workshops continue to expand.Caprelli travels to elementary schools to create engaging Author Visits and Creating Imagination with Reading, Writing, Song and the Arts that go "beyond her books" to encourage creative thinking from a child's point of view. She shares the behind the scenes making of storytelling and picture books that expand imagination. School librarians, principals and educators enjoy her presentations which include the importance of team work, social emotional learning, empathy, kindness, happiness, the power of being unique and believing in others.
