Jupiter is a young unicorn who is born in the early spring. We follow him as he learns all about the unicorn way of life in the forest where they all live. He is befriended by a slightly older unicorn, who takes him under his wing. He introduces him to all the creatures who live in the forest,including the King and Queen of the fairies.When his friend is kidnapped by the treacherouse King of the goblins, Jupiter sets out on his quest to rescue him. Along theway he meets another unicorn who has very strong magical powers. So the two of them set off on a series of adventures and battles. They meet up with the God of the seas, King Neptune, who has great plans for the unicorn race.

The story unfolds packed with colourful descriptions, feats of great daring,wonderous acts of magic, all sprinkled with humour and happiness.
