The designs are based on the pretty, romantic illustrations typical of the Victorian and post-Victorian eras, and are fresh and appealing. This book reflects what Trish has learnt about needle painting embroidery over the years and shares her more recent ideas on every aspect of long and short stitch and how to adapt it to fit different situations and projects. Being self-taught, Trish understands the need for clarity and how to present instructions in the simplest manner so that they are easy to follow-each project contains comprehensive thread listings, numerous step-by-step photographs and row-by-row instructions.
