Quality Standards - Beyond the Norm. This book is designed to probe and question with the objective of improving and exceeding Quality Standard norms. We all understand that product and service quality will only improve, when we promote ourselves ahead of the competition. It did take a while to decide on the title for this book. I wanted to ask questions and challenge the usual practice of racing to be the same. At the same time understand why we need Quality Standards. The fact is, a published Quality Standard is yesterdays thinking, produced based on the failures of previously published Quality Standards. The best business managers are those that do the extra.
Accepting that quality is normally something we all aspire to achieve in our personal life, and at the same time we use the term quality to identify a level of good, medium or poor quality. Then we use our efforts to promote products and services into chosen markets. The better the quality, the more customer satisfaction, resulting with sustained growth, economic performance, social improvement and profitability. The book is about being the best and staying ahead of yesterdays Quality Standards.
