Ute Buehler has always been a photographer, eversince her father gave her the fi rst camera, andshared his love for photography with her.Documenting life around her became a passion.Cooking was the other passion, coming from a family with a love for good food, down-to-earthfamily recipes and love for "fancy" menus.And writing became the third passion when she immigrated to the United States changing to a newcareer path.Today she combines all these passions creating pictured journeys,sometimes with recipes, as in this book, sometimes without themlike in books she is planning to write.She considers herself a photographic journal writer and is looking forward to publishing a series of books in progress about hertravels across the American and European continents.Ute Buehler lives in Minnesota and has fallen in love with this beautiful part of the country.
