A brave hamster has had enough of being trapped in a dirty cage by a roughhouse boy. He musters up the courage to escape only to find out that he is not the only runaway in the house. A hamster, a mouse, a guinea pig, and a turtle are on their own to survive, and grow stronger with every hardship in their path. In search of a better life, these four little foundlings form a bond as they narrowly dodge their past, and open their hearts for a loving future.
