Written as an ode to the splatter films, pulp novels and anime that I grew up on, Pray Cathal is an explosive, fast paced horror juggernaut that retains it's brutal onslaught till the final blood stained page.Synopsis -There is no God. There is no Devil. There is no Heaven. There is the Committee. There is the Institute. They specialise in experimenting on the human race. Having decided that Man has progressed as far as it is going to go, it has chosen to wipe the humans out, using an expelled member of the Institute as it's catalyst.

The exile in question has resided in the body of a convict who was snatched from deathrow to take part in a genetic experiment. The convict has broken free and with the power of the super being inside it is either destroying everyone it comes across or turning them into virtually unstoppable killing machines. Death is spreading through this anonymous city. Another member of the Institute, named Cathal, finds himself extradited for stumbling across the Committee's plans while conducting his own experiment. He is sent to earth to supposedly perish among the very band of people he assembled. This band includes - The scientists responsible for the genetic experiment and the containment unit brought in to try and regain control - A psychopath - A reporter and her photographer - A psychic gangster - Two convicts and a gang of runaways. Now he must use them to save this city and prevent his own oblivion. Tonight they better pray Cathal because right now, he's the only one who's listening.
