Hervé Bourhis is a French comics author from Bordeaux. He was born in Touraine, studied plastic arts, and began his career working as a web graphics artist upon graduation in 1999. He has published several comic books since 2002, either as a writer or as writer/artist. His first book was 'Thomas, ou le Retour du Tabou' at Les Humanoïdes Associés. which earned him the Goscinny Prize for best young comics writer. He then wrote 'Le Stéreo Club', a comic series about music fans, for artist Rudy Spiessert at Dargaud (2004-2006). Bourhis is best-known as the author of several informative comics documentaries for Éditions Dargaud. Hervé Bourhis received the Prix Jacques Lob for his entire body of work in 2010.
