Shane Borrowman is editor or co-editor of six essay collections, including Trauma and the Teaching of Writing and On the Blunt Edge, and four writing textbooks. He frequently writes about parenting, but he has published articles in regional and national magazines--on topics ranging from medieval Arab scholars of Aristotle to the history of boxing. Currently, he is chair of the English Department at the University of Montana Western, where he teaches classes on memoir, the history of technology, and zombie films in America.
