Dr. Raghvendra A. Bohara, Ph.D., is currently working as an Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at CÚRAM, the Centre for Research in Medical Devices, Government of Ireland. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, D. Y. Patil Education Society, Kolhapur, India.
His major reseach interests include magnetic triggered drug delivery and cancer nanomedicine. He is a recipient of various prestigious fellowships, e.g. from the Government of India, Government of Ireland IRC Fellowship (2017), SERB Travel Grant Young Scientist Awardee, and an Excellence in Research Award for the year 2016-2017 awarded by the D. Y. Patil Education Society. Recently he was selected as an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). Dr.
Bohara has published more than 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, 4 book chapters and 1 book, is an Associate Editor for the journal Biochemistry and Biophysics Reports, and has served as a guest editor and reviewer for many other journals. He is also actively involved in teaching courses on stem cells, regenerative medicine and medical biotechnology for undergraduates and graduates.
