David Blair's first book of poetry Ascension Days was chosen by Thomas Lux for the 2007 Del Sol Poetry Prize. He is also the author of Friends with Dogs (Sheep Meadow Press), Arsonville (New Issues Poetry & Prose), two books that appeared in 2016. MadHat Press also published Blair's first collection of essays, Walk Around: Essays on Poetry and Place.
