Begos is a former Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT and a contributor to A Field Guide for Science Writers. His work has appeared in the Christian Science Monitor, Scientific American.com, Harpers, Salon, and many other publications. Begos has also reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Sudan, and his writing has won several national journalism awards.
