Divorce is never an easy thing, and I am certainly no expert. But I am learning, mostly the hard way. In retrospect there were so many things I could have done to make my life easier after leaving.Whether it was things I could have done to prepare myself, and to put myself into a better position, or just the honest realizations of how my world would change. And it does. And it will for you too. Starting over is hard at any age. My hope is that if you at least know what to expect, it will cushion the blow.

So many things came as a shock to me, nothing was cut and dry. Most of the lessons were hard, and painful.Now this is not a large book by any means. Every person is different, every divorce is different. I really don't get into specifics here, mostly in generalities, the common elements that most of us will face in these difficult times. Transition is hard, but there are some things that made it easier for me, and those are the bits of information I want to share.This is my first venture with my new publishing company, 3-13 Publishing.
