Alice Brown and her husband Leo die in a car crash in Moscow and find themselves in Paradise, which in their case is a villa in Tuscany near Lucca. All goes well until disturbing signs appear indicating that both Earth and Paradise are coming under attack from Lucifer, and Alice finds herself playing a leading role in the events that follow.
