Andrew Lawson was a high school History teacher in Redfield, South Dakota. While most areas of history were of some interest to him, his true passion was the tragic story of The Titanic. He had even published a book on the event-which discussed some of the well-known (and some of the not so well-known) facts about that fateful night. Every year, his senior class would spend a semester doing research on the subject and finish with a writing assignment summarizing their thoughts on it.One afternoon, just after the last bell of the day rang in Andrew's classroom, an older man walked in after the students had left. He didn't mention anything about himself other than he'd read the teacher's book, and that he had a question to ask-only one. "If you had an opportunity to stop the Titanic from sinking, would you take it?"What would the world look like if the great 'unsinkable' ship really did miss that iceberg? Andrew would soon find himself smack in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean during April of 1912. As the date of the sinking quickly approached, he would have to find a way to save the ship, while not causing a panic or being put in the brig.

With a crew of pride-filled men who thought Titanic was the 'last word in shipbuilding', he was going to need a miracle to make it back to land.
