Mandy Archer is an author and editor. She has worked in the children's book industry for more than twenty years, developing titles ranging from board books for babies to picture books, pop-ups, illustrated nonfiction, and chapter books. After working in-house at Larousse Kingfisher and then BBC Worldwide, Mandy teamed up with a group of creatives to establish the kids' editorial and design studio, 38a The Shop. Mandy thrives on creating new and immersive worlds for children to explore. She has written for Rainbow Magic Fairies and other popular fiction series. Her picture books include the Fairies of Blossom Bakery series (Picture Corgi) and Busy Wheels - Fire Engine is Flashing , Digger to the Rescue, Tractor Saves the Day, and Racing Car is Roaring (QED). When she needs some extra inspiration, Mandy enjoys talking in primary schools about fairy tales, book making, and more. She lives near the racecourse in Epsom Downs, England.
Chris Jevons is a children's book illustrator represented internationally by the Bright Agency. With a background in design and animation, he pursued his passion for children's books and joined Bright in 2011. Chris has illustrated children's books for publishers including Penguin, Ladybird, Egmont, Scholastic, Little Tiger Press, Maverick, Milly and Flynn, and many more. He lives and works in the Spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
