The book is motivated by the desire we and others have to further the evolution of the core understanding of merger, acquisition & integration as it relates to information technology. This book is developed from my 20 years of experience in providing solutions & support to many complex types of merger & acquisition programs in all industry verticals. The book is written in a text format with the intention that readers understand all aspects of the subject using real-time examples & scenarios. This book serves a number of goals & benefits to my readers. The first goal is to draw attention to the framework, architecture, methodology, process, industry vertical relevance & corporate culture of information technology. The understanding of the above attributes will provide my readers with more comprehensive knowledge of the book's topic. However, computing is becoming more advanced and sometimes complicated during transformation with many computing options. Therefore, a second goal is to give those readers who do not participate in complex solutions or who are not looking for training in this area beyond the conceptual discussion an advantage.
Finally, a more pervasive goal is to expose all readers not only to the technology part & concepts but also access to my intellectually rich references gained from the many successful programs that I have participated in over the past several years.
