Gail spent time as an executive assistant and office manager for large corporations and was acquainted with many of the "power players" in Los Angeles.She started her first venture into her own business field with a job placement service. This led to her next step of opening a medical transcription company which was successful. At the same time her husband, Jim, taught adult education classes on how to start a home business at colleges and universities in California and NevadaAfter a number of years of running this successful business, they decided to follow a personal dream to begin a humane society and thus moved to Oregon.
