Heather Alexander is the acclaimed author of more than 70 books for children. She writes both fiction and nonfiction for ages five through thirteen. She studied Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts UAL and has worked as an illustrator for many years.


She likes to use bold and bright colors, lots of details and rich textures. Maps, landscapes and ballet dancers are her favorite things to draw, but she also likes to write stories and experiment with design, typography, and print!
