Sean Adams is a partner at AdamsMorioka in Beverly Hills. He has been recognized by every major competition and publication including; Step, Communication Arts, Graphis AIGA, The Type Directors Club, The British Art Director's Club, and the New York Art Director's Club. AdamsMorioka has been exhibited often including a solo exhibition at The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Adams has been cited as one of the forty most important people shaping design internationally in the ID40.Sean is President ex officio and past national board member of AIGA, and President ex officio of AIGA Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the Aspen Design Conference, and AIGA Fellow. He teaches at Art Center College of Design. Sean is a frequent lecturer and competition judge internationally.


Adams is the co-author of Logo Design Workbook, Color Design Workbook, and the series, Masters of Design. AdamsMorioka's clients include The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Adobe, Gap, Frank Gehry Partners, Nickelodeon, Sundance, Target, USC, and The Walt Disney Company.Peter Dawson has over 20 years' experience within the design industry graduating from Kingston University in 1992 with a first class Honours degree in Graphic Design. Having worked as a designer and then creative director at a number of design consultancies, he went on to co-found Grade in 2000. He has worked for a diverse and extensive range of clients over the years from the Barbican to Walt Disney and now specialise in print and publishing design, branding and typography. His main focus is illustrated book design for trade publishers and private commissions. A selection of current clients include the Barbican, Bloomsbury, British Museum, Historic Royal Palaces, National Portrait Gallery, Prestel, Royal Collection, Tate and Thames and Hudson. Having designed a large number of best-selling and award-winning illustrated book titles over the years, awards for his work have included British DAD annual inclusion, 'Best Jacket' and 'Best Book Series' in the British Book Design and Production Awards, several ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers) 'Certificates of Excellence' and a prestigious 'Premiere' award in their most recent typographic awards.


He is a Fellow, and a former Chair and board member, of the ISTD and has been a visiting typography and design lecturer at a number of universities in the UK and overseas. In 2012 he co-authored the book, Graphic Design Rules (Frances Lincoln) and wrote The Field Guide to Typography (Thames and Hudson), published in 2013.John Foster was a teacher for 20 years before becoming a full-time writer. He is the author of twelve books of poetry and over 150 anthologies. He has performed at all the UK's national book festivals and visits schools and libraries regularly. His books include The Poetry Chest, The Oxford First Book of Poetry, Dinosaur Poems, Dragon Poems and Magic Poems. He lives in OxfordshireAfter graduating from art college in 1987 Tony Seddon spent 12-years living and working in London, first for a multidisciplinary design consultancy, then as the senior art editor for illustrated book publisher Conran Octopus. In 1999 he decided to leave London and, after stints as design manager for The Ivy Press and Ilex Press in Lewes, and as art director for Brighton based visual arts publisher RotoVision, he now work as a freelance graphic designer and writer.
