This volume contains four plays, as well as the biographies of and interviews with their authors. The plays are: "On the Way to the Concert" by Carlos Olmos, "The Dandy of the Savoy" by Eduardo Rodriguez Solis, "Soldiers will be Soldiers" by Pablo Salinas, and "Picture Perfect" by Tomas Urtusastegui. There is also a biography and interview with Marcela del Rio. Rodriguez, who taught theater, Southwestern folklore and Chicano literature and art at the U. of Colorado in Boulder, died in 2000.
