Released in time for Ramadan 2018. Ramadan 2016 was a watershed moment as a number of publishers released titles to take advantage of this holiday with overwhelming success, such as It's Ramadan, Curious George and our book Ramadan and Fasting Activity Book, which sold over 1000 copies in four weeks. In 2017, CBSD sold 1700 copies of Hassan and Aneesa Love Ramadan (9780860376422), over 1000 copies of Ramadan and Fasting Activity Book and in total, over $50,000 over two months, of our books. Designed to introduce children to a range of Muslim practices on Eid, including waking up early to wash and dress, praying as a family outside, giving charity, spending time with friends and relatives, and sharing the occassion with neighbors. The fourth title in the Hassan and Aneesa series that has previously seen them go to a madrasa (Islamic school) and masjid (mosque/Muslim place of worship), and experience Ramadan. Engaging text and colorfully illustrated. Very reasonably priced - lower than the other titles on sites such as Amazon for competing products. Features a Muslim family in a Western setting.
