The Gardenia Guild is a series of journals kept by Mary Gray. Journal one was written during the three month period that she attended the Summer Finishing School and Debutante Program at Vaudner Academy in Charleston, South Carolina. It features mementos, notes from etiquette classes, photographs, letters, recipes and more.
