WW11 A new type of German Mine is towed in into a small enclave on the East Coast of Yorkshire by a suicidally disposed sea Captain. The Mine is found to be one of Hitlers new wonder weapons, extremely dangerous and tricky to defuse, however help is at hand in a local lunatic asylum. Close by is a rest home for retired service men from WW1, many are quite mad, others suffer from shock, yet within this 'home; they ultimately find help. This in turn leads to an adventurous trip through Nazi occupied Europe for one of our agents. With nothing more than an outdated Bradshaw's Continental Rail Guide to help him as he attempts to contact the designer of the Mine. This however proves to be trickier than he thought, as the designer of The Mine is himself on the run from the Gestapo. Every page and chapter, contains an element of intrigue and adventure.
