Simon H. Bailey's first chapbook examines the theme of life as a collection of journeys -- magical, nightmarish, confusing, enlightening, and above all unpredictable. The poems are written in a variety of styles, from the iambic pentameter in "Airplane Sonnet" to the free flowing "Crocodile Nightmares" to the simple rhyming couplets in "Oops.". Like the theme itself, this little book wants to take the reader on a journey.
