The phenomenon of electrochemical discharge is growing in importance in applications in synthetic chemistry, wastewater treatment, surface engineering, micro-precision machining, and most recently the synthesis of nanoparticles in which the process has the advantage of versatility, easy application, and cost effectiveness.
